Beyond Language Barriers — Taking the Gospel to Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire
Beyond Language Barriers — Taking the Gospel to Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is for every nation, every people, and every tongue. In Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, we had the opportunity to take the message of Christ to the streets and reach people in a French-speaking environment.
Though language can sometimes create a barrier, the mission remains the same: to proclaim Jesus Christ and make the Gospel known. We may speak different languages and come from different cultures, but the need for salvation is the same.
Every encounter was an opportunity to share the hope of Christ, speak about His saving grace, and point souls to the truth of God’s Word. We believe that the Gospel must continue to cross borders, cultures, and languages until every person has had the opportunity to hear.
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” — Mark 16:15
